Newbies: What site do I join?

This is going to be a matter of debate. The question of what site is best for a swinger to join to find what they are looking for will depend on just what they are looking for. In the end like so many things in life there is something just right for all crowds.

It is important to note that while there is something for everyone, there is alot of sites for nobody as well.

We have experience working with and being members on a large number of websites. Each of them are ideal for a certain type of swinger crowd.

AFF or Adult Friend Finder is one of the best known site, thanks to alot of “marketing” it has become a super well exposed brand.

We have been members of Aff.com for a number of years. We started there because it is where inexperienced swingers go before they learn more about the lifestyle. We also returned there because it does have a huge member base if you are looking for certain things. If you want “off the radar” swingers, newbies, freaks and of course single men who are more horny than lifestyle this is a good place to shop.

Adultfriendfinder.com will give you access to a barrage of penis pictures and single guys wanting to “get laid”. I have stated before that guys out to “get laid” are not swingers. Single males in the lifestyle are very different in their demeanor, approach and understanding of how to be a friend in the lifestyle as a single male.

AFF also brings a good amount of something different if you are like us and want those off the radar swingers who don’t exist on other sites and don’t attend parties and swinger events. You can find the closet swingers on AFF for sure.

SLS or www.SwingLifeStyle.com is one of the other “big ones” online for meeting experienced couples. SLS is highly involved in the lifestle events, community and promoting. You will find SLS to have a 1990′s quality website, not much in the way of modern website features, but it does have the most important features of a huge, huge client base of members. We have never been a paying member on SLS, free members only so we did not explore all it’s features. We never found the need for a membership there in the area we lived.

SDC.com or the Swing Dating Community is one of the sites you could probally start out on as a new swinger. You would be happy to know it is so full and well rounded with events and large number of profiles that you could stay there long into your experiences as well. SDC is very connected in the southeast with running events and meet and greets so you get a good handle of whats going on as well. With sites like AFF.com you do not get events to attend and the sense of community on a true swingers website like SDC.com provides. This is one site we are actively a member on and will likely always be.

Playfulswingers.com is one we had been a member of for a short time when we lived in Atlanta and Raleigh. This site is generally based from Virginia to Tampa on the east coast and provides alot of real couples and info on events. Playfulswingers is associated with AAHZ party events and hotel takeovers and promotes them through there. We have attended 2 of these events and they are excellent fun. If you do not get to travle to the best clubs in Atlanta and Miami then these AAHZ events are about as good as you can get. This site doesnt have too many single and is almost all real couples ages 28-45 that are experienced in the lifestyle. This site has recently BECOME FREE as well. We reccomend you go and sign up there and meet alot of the established regulars, a very friendly community style site.

MVClub.com is the site in conjnction with the Miami Velvet Swingers Club. Membership on MVClub.com is about the same price as SDC or AFF but at the same time gets you huge discounts on Miami Velvet admission prices year round. Miami Velvet also hosts alot of SDC meet and greets and events. There is at the very least 2 of these per month at Velvet, which are great low cost and top quality crowds and parties. This is another site we have been members of on and off, and if you are anywhere in Florida from Tampa to Miami you should be a member on this site. MVClub isnt the most modern site of this group but it does have alot of smart features others don’t. MVClub.com is the only one weve seen that tells you someone is currently reading your profile, which in turn makes you read theirs, and in real time you are meeting in essence. This is a super smart feature, simple and smart. You can also see who is attending the parties on this site, previewing the nights crowd at the club you all meet up at later is a priceless idea. With the amazing admission discounts this is a must signup website for a Florida area swinger couple.

Facebook? Yes Facebook. This has slowly and surely been beating the others into the ground. Facebook has created an ideal setting for swingers to meet. You can go anonymously to a swingers board, LIKE join ar comment and see a huge list of swingers right on that wall. More and more swinging communities have been starting a second anonymous facebook account for the reason of being able to secretly socialize with their friends and peers. So newbies, this is another free way for you to start meeting people safely at home.
